Who we are
We (Kate and Mel) believe that, where possible, life should be beautiful. With a shared background in marketing and a penchant for parties, we know how to abolish the ordinary and add the extra sparkle. The fulcrum of our business is creativity and a passion for style (and of course Champagne).
Whether you are looking for the perfect day for your loved ones’ special anniversary or what to do with your friends on your weekend away, we can create a bespoke event or experience tailored to you.
“Trifle, for breakfast?”
On a personal note, we love to be sociable and have intimate dinners and parties…but appreciate restorative solitude. When we can, we indulge in sherry trifle (no jelly) for breakfast and ultimately we prefer Champagne over Prosecco, but if it has bubbles we will drink it! Things that fill us with shared joy include cottage garden flowers, home styling, leopard print, secret gardens, hessian, sheepskins, pet dogs, exotic plants, tasty and thoughtfully presented food, metallics and leathers, all four seasons, horses, funky boots, walks, cityscapes, tablescapes, and crucially well curated toilets!
Our approach
Our unique combination of lived experiences span from bustling cityscapes to the serene countryside. We have both lived a global, urban experience and more latterly the rural one, giving us local know-how and access to it. We have a discerning eye, but a practical approach to finding all that is out there; be it services, resources, events or products. And where we come into our own is the assessing, curating, making and ultimately bringing together and presenting a whole experience beautifully.
We have boutique, designer and artisan taste, but we also know how to shop the mainstream and understand style on a ‘budget’. So we have a special set of skills as we can think, shape and do normally simultaneously.
Ultimately we want to create amazing adventures, fun sociable interactions with new and old faces, beautiful products and fulfilling lifestyle activities with a combination of simple, natural and beautiful rural resources.
